Doors open. House locked.

Your Doorway Can Be Open and Locked at the Same Time.

A SecureView security door does exactly that. Not a new mesh in your old frame, a new door made for your opening. 316 marine-grade stainless mesh, bonded into a powder-coated frame with no screw heads to rust. Colour matched to your windows off a real swatch. Turn the key and three bolts throw: top, middle, bottom. That's a door that locks, not a screen that latches. Front door included.

One crew measures. The same crew fits, one door or the whole house, in a day.

What's actually in the frame

Five Things That Decide Whether a Screen Door Is a Security Door.

01

316 Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Mesh

It's the higher corrosion-resistant grade, so it lasts through the wet season. And it's woven fine enough that you're admiring your garden, not the screen.

02

Triple Lock as Standard

One turn of the key throws three bolts, top, middle and bottom. We'll walk you through it before you buy, not after.

03

No Screw Heads Down the Frame

The mesh is bonded in with 3M VHB and a keyway wedge, not screwed. Nothing showing, and no two metals grinding against each other.

04

Colour Matched to Your Window Frames

Your installer brings a swatch of powder-coated offcuts and matches the frame to your existing windows on site. Around a hundred colours, plus timber grain.

05

The Whole Job Finished in One Day

One door or the whole house, the crew stay until it is finished. Two installers when the job needs them, and no mess left behind.

Pick One, on Us

Every New Security Door Install Comes with a Free Bonus. You Choose Which.

Two bonuses, and you pick whichever suits your house. Neither is a discount and neither is a gimmick. One saves you a job you didn't know was coming. The other is for the cat or dog.

Bonus 1

New Doors Keyed to Your Existing Key

A new security door turns up with its own cylinder and its own keys, so that's another key on the ring. Instead, you pick a key you already carry, usually the front door key, and our locksmith cuts the cylinder in every new door to match it before they leave the shop. Your new doors then open with the key already in your pocket, and there's no locksmith to book afterwards.

or
Bonus 2

A Free Petway Pet Door

A Petway pet door, sized small through to extra large, built into the new door you're ordering. It's fitted as part of your install, ready for Bella or Smokey to come and go as they please. One thing you need to know first. Fitting a pet door means that door is no longer classed as a security door. We'll tell you that before you choose it, not after.

The terms, in full. One bonus per job. You nominate one existing key, and every new door on that job is cut to match it. It is one key, so a house already running several different external keys can't have all of them matched. Fitting a pet door means that door is no longer classed as a security door.

One crew, start to finish

You Get a Date, Not a Promise. Here Is How the Job Runs.

01

We Measure and Quote

Steph books your measure. An installer measures up, sorts the colour with you at the door, and your quote follows within two days.

02

Your Date, Before We Order

You get your installation date in writing, on the morning your deposit goes through. Not a rough guess, an actual date on your invoice.

03

Keyed, Fitted, Finished

Chosen the key-alike option? Every new door gets cut to your nominated key at our shop first. Then the crew who measured come back and fit them.

Straight answer on timing.

Deposit to install is running about four weeks at the moment, spring being our busiest stretch. We are not going to pretend it is quicker than that. What we will do is text you the moment anything moves, so you are never left wondering where your doors are.

One local crew, from the first phone call to the day we pack up.

The install is everything

You Can Buy the Best Door Made and Still Not Have a Secure Door.

Looking out through a SecureView hinged security door from inside the Darling Downs Glass & Security shop on Mort Street
Jeff Mays, owner

You could spend top dollar on a door. But if the installer puts three hinges on where the door needs four, or one screw in each hinge instead of four, it isn't a secure door. The standard's the same for everybody. The install is where it's won or lost.

That's Why Two Stickers Go on Every Job We Finish.

One from Starline, saying the door was made to the AS 5039 series. One from us, saying it was installed to it. Ask to see both from anyone quoting you. Jeff's words: none of the others are doing that out there.

01

The Crew Who Measure Your Doorway Also Fit It

No subcontractors, no second trade to book afterwards. Eight of us, uniformed, in branded trucks.

02

The People Who Will Be at Your House

Kirby, Corey and Richard get named in our reviews constantly. Customers come home to the job done and the place as they left it.

03

Licensed, and Installed to the Australian Standards

QBCC licence 152 690 90. The AS 5039 series covers how a security screen is classified, how it is tested, and how it is installed.

04

Two Stickers on Every Door and Screen

Starline's Manufactured to the Australian Standard, and our own Installed to the Australian Standards. Jeff: none of the others are doing that out there.

Get your house back

The House Stopped Feeling Like Yours. This Is How You Get It Back.

When someone's broken into your house, it's a strange thing to explain to anyone it hasn't happened to. Nothing much was taken. Nobody got hurt. And still, the house you've lived in for years doesn't quite feel like yours any more.

You find yourself checking the same window twice. Standing in the hallway at eleven at night, because your own home has stopped feeling safe and your mind won't let it go.

Nobody should have to get over that. What you need is something in those openings that actually locks, so the house starts feeling like yours again. Ring us and you'll have a measure booked and a quote in your hands.

Asked before every quote

The Five Questions We Get Asked Most, Answered Straight.

How does SecureView compare to CrimSafe?
SecureView is not CrimSafe. It is an equivalent product, the CrimSafe style, made by Starline in Brisbane. The AS 5039 series is the minimum every certified door has to meet, so ask anyone quoting you what grade the mesh is, how it is held in, and who is installing it.
What actually makes a door a security door?
We call these the Three Questions. Ask them of anyone quoting you, us included. Does one turn of the key throw three bolts? How many hinges, and how many screws in each? Is it labelled compliant to AS 5039? The industry body's line is blunt: no label, no compliance.
How long will it take?
Right now it's about four weeks from deposit to install, with spring being our busiest stretch of the year. That number moves. What doesn't is that you'll never be guessing. Your install date goes on your invoice, we text you if anything shifts, and the install itself is one day.
Will it rust or go tea-stained?
Two things drive corrosion: the grade of the stainless, and what holds the mesh in. SecureView mesh is 316 marine grade, the higher corrosion-resistant grade, and it is bonded in rather than screwed, so no fasteners sit where two metals meet. Ask anyone quoting you what grade the mesh is.
How do I clean them?
Warm water, a soft brush and a hose, a couple of times a year, more often if something is growing on them. Nothing abrasive, no solvents, no high-pressure washer. We will walk you through it at handover, and tell you what not to do.
Nothing left to organise

One Local Crew, and a House You Can Finally Leave Open.

You know what you're after. Doors open on a good evening, the bugs outside, and the house locked the whole time you're standing in it.

What stops most people isn't the product. It's the not knowing. Who's coming, when, and whether anyone will ring back at all. It comes up again and again in our reviews: the last company they rang never came back with the quote.

That's the part we take seriously. You'll know where you stand from the first phone call to the day we pack up. And once the doors are on, you stop thinking about any of it. What people tell us afterwards is rarely about the mesh. It's that they wish they'd done it years ago.

  • Two stickers on every door and screen, one from Starline and one from us.
